Meta Data Manager for eDOCS DM

Meta Data Manager (MDM) is a plug-in that can pull metadata from the eDOCS DM profile or DM database and subsequently merge fields into MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint files. A dynamic link from the eDOCS DM profile to the content of the mentioned MS Office applications.

MDM is installed on the local client interaction with the MS Office package elements in scope. It has its own tab in MS Office applications when open with eDOCS DM. Data updated in eDOCS also passes through MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Unambiguous reference with Meta Data Manager

Merge fields with file info and type ID from the eDOCS profile can be predefined in the documents and saved as templates. This is an advantage in complying with the Personal Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

MDM can be used to ensure that all person-related user information in MS Office files is updated. This ensures unambiguous reference when metadata is extracted from the case complex.

MDM is a part of "The Managers" program from MIRANDA Partners. It contains a number of utilities developed for eDOCS DM. All applications improve the functionalities of eDOCS DM and are developed continuously.
