New InfoCenter, eDOCS Search function in Outlook and RESTful API
We met with Swedish eDOCS users October 26 in Stockholm. New features were highlighted, demonstrated and discussed, as well as and add-on tools that make eDOCS DM even better!
Great improvements was made in eDOCS DM 16.2. Features like a personalized InfoCenter, eDOCS Search+ function for MS Outlook, and a RESTful API are functions you can gain a lot of effort from in your business.

At the event for the Swedish user group we went through the new features like eDOCS DM InfoCenter, Directory Services and eDOCS Search+ for MS Outlook – and presented how they are supplemented by 3rd party software like DM Sync Manager.
Our goal was to give first-hand knowledge from our OpenText specialists Michael Thomsen and Jesper Friis at the event, and help the users become confident with how to use the newest eDOCS version. We strongly believe it will benefit the daily work with document management.
eDOCS DM InfoCenter is one of the new features in the 16.2 release. InfoCenter is a desktop interface for Windows and Mac that ships alongside DM Extensions, giving users more choices and flexibility in how they work.
InfoCenter is very easy to customize and your most important folders and documents are thereby only one click away.
The welcome screen gives you a clear overview of e.g. Saved Searches, Work Spaces, FlexFolders, Client, Matters and the documents you have recently edited.
